Sites of Importance to Nature Conservation (SINCs)

Sites of Importance to Nature Conservation (SINCs) are areas that are recognised for the value of their geology, wildlife and biodiversity. These areas are given a high level of protection within the local planning system. Natural England and the Urban Wildlife Trust will be consulted on any development that may affect them.
