Merrion's Wood Local Nature Reserve

This site contains oak and beech woodland, with fields and hedgerows. It is part of the Beacon Way, and a great site for dog walking, picnics, ball games and bird watching. 

The site has a Green Flag award and there is a Friends of Merrion's Wood facebook group.

Merrion's Wood is a Local Nature Reserve (LNR) and a Site of Importance to Nature Conservation (SINC).

Accessibility

The site is easy to reach and has many trails.

Several bus companies run services that will take you near to the wood including Diamond and National Express West Midlands.
