Park Lime Pits Local Nature Reserve

This site is home to more than 300 species of plants, 100 different types of birds and is a Local Nature Reserve (LNR). You may see woodpeckers in the trees and fish in the pond. The site is a fantastic place to go pond dipping, and there is a purpose-built pond dipping platform on the small pool. There is a circular route around the reserve which connects to Lime Pits Farm walk. 

You can fish in the big pool but not the small pool. Visit the government website to get a licence. Please return any fish you catch to the water.

Several bus companies run services that will take you near to Park Lime Pits including National Express West Midlands and Diamond.
