Bentley Haye
This site is great for health walks and watching wildlife. Bentley Haye is a large area of wet grassland, home to many animals and insects. In Spring 2011, great crested newts were discovered on the reserve for the first time.
The site is a Local Nature Reserve (LNR) and Site of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINC).
Accessibility
There is limited access to Bentley Haye, the main route onto the site is restricted by steep banks up to a canal bridge. All paths are either grass or soil.
