The Piggeries

The site is great for health walks, dog walking, picnics and watching nature. The Piggeries is the smallest site of Rough Wood Chase and links Rough Wood to Wood Farm. 

It is a Local Nature Reserve (LNR) and Site of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINC).

Accessibility

You will need to complete a short walk to access the site and the path through the site is grassed.

Activities

Nature trails: There is a circular trail that takes in the whole of Rough Wood Chase.

Habitat and wildlife

Woodland birds, insects and bats.

Getting to The Piggeries

Several bus companies run services that will take you near to The Piggeries including Diamond and National Express West Midlands.
