Brownhills Common Local Nature Reserve

This site is great for health walks, dog walking, picnics, and wildlife watching. Brownhills Common is home to lots of different wildlife ranging from fallow deer, lizards, and mining bees. There are wildflowers growing here that are only found on heathland.

Brownhills Common is a designated Local Nature Reserve (LNR) and a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).

Accessibility

Most walking paths are grass but there are some hard surface paths.

Getting to Brownhills Common

Several bus companies run services that will take you near to the Common including Walsall Community Transport and National Express West Midlands.

Parking is available near to Holland Park or in the Coppice Lane lay-by.
