Walsall Connected Annual Report - Year Four - Celebrating four years of community impact

As Bloxwich Community Partnership (BCP) completes its fourth year of delivering Walsall Connected across the borough, we are proud to reflect on another year of growth, collaboration and meaningful community impact. Over the past 12 months, Walsall Connected has continued to evolve, strengthening its role as a trusted network of local support hubs for residents across Walsall.

Walsall Connected remains a co-designed and co-delivered initiative in partnership with Walsall Council, ensuring residents can access key public services, digital support, wellbeing advice and community resources in safe and welcoming local spaces. BCP continues to play a central role in the coordination, development and day-to-day delivery of this essential service.

Operational Delivery and Support

Our dedicated team continues to ensure the smooth operation of Walsall Connected across all participating centres and partner venues. This includes regular visits to centres and community venues to provide practical on-site support, alongside ongoing staff training, mentoring and development opportunities. Daily support is provided through email, telephone and Microsoft Teams, allowing for quick resolution of queries and real-time communication of updates and service changes. The team also supports the onboarding and integration of new Link Centre partners, helping to expand the reach and accessibility of Walsall Connected services across the borough.

Partnership and Community Engagement

Collaboration remains at the heart of Walsall Connected. Throughout the year, we have continued to strengthen partnerships with a wide range of organisations to improve support for local residents and respond to emerging community needs.

We have also continued to actively promote Walsall Connected through attendance at local community events, festivals and engagement activities, partnership forums, networking groups and borough-wide initiatives.

As we move into another year, BCP remains committed to strengthening community connections, reducing barriers to support and ensuring Walsall residents can continue to access the services they need locally and confidently.
