Walsall Connected Annual Report - Year Four - A collaboration with the community

Walsall Connected continued into its fourth year, building on the successful co-design approach developed in partnership with Bloxwich Community Partnership and the strong collaboration between Walsall Council and community partners across the borough. The programme continued to provide:

  • Face-to-face digital upskilling
  • General digital support
  • Signposting and access to first-line Council services

Walsall Connected comprises a collaborative network of 28 strategically situated sites, staffed by trained staff and volunteers. The sites are in convenient locations that are easily accessible to residents within their local area, reducing the requirement to travel to a single town-centre location for in-person support and guidance.

The primary aim of Walsall Connected is to ensure digitally excluded residents have access to consistent support and gain essential, everyday transferable digital skills.
