Next steps

The next stage is to seek further funding to develop the scheme into a detailed design. Feedback received during this consultation will be reviewed and, where possible, incorporated into the design as it is progressed.

Anticipated timescales

Subject to funding being secured, construction would not start until the detailed design stage is complete and all necessary approvals are in place. Any future works would be programmed to minimise disruption as far as possible, and advance notice would be provided to residents and businesses.

Cost

At this stage, an overall cost estimate has not yet been finalised. Costs will be developed as the scheme progresses through detailed design and once delivery options are confirmed.

Funding and delivery

Funding for construction has not yet been secured. However, this scheme is a priority for Walsall Council, and we will continue to focus our efforts on securing funding and delivering improvements at this location.
