A461 Lichfield Road (adjacent to Rushall Labour Club), for traffic travelling towards Walsall.

What is proposed

An additional straight‑ahead traffic lane is proposed on Lichfield Road (A461).

Why this change is needed

To allow more vehicles to pass through the junction when the traffic signals turn green.
To provide separate, dedicated waiting lanes for vehicles turning right into Pelsall Lane and Station Road, reducing delays for straight‑ahead traffic.

How this will be delivered

The existing bus stop outside the Rushall Hub is proposed to be relocated slightly away from the junction. This creates enough space to widen the carriageway and introduce the additional straight‑ahead lane.
