The service road and adjoining green space outside the shops on Pelsall Lane.

What is proposed

• A new, more attractive public space using complimentary materials.
• Clearly defined parking bays to serve the local shops and nearby residents.
• A dedicated pedestrian crossing point within the space.
• Bollards installed to prevent vehicles parking on pedestrian footways.
• A narrowed vehicle entry to discourage through‑traffic.
• Upgraded street lighting to improve visibility and safety.

How this will be delivered

• Some small existing trees will be removed to allow formal parking spaces to be introduced.
• The existing memorial tree will be carefully relocated within the green space.
• New trees will be planted to replace those removed.
• The existing bus stop will be relocated further along Pelsall Lane.
