What is proposed
A new short right‑turn lane to provide waiting space for vehicles turning into McDonald’s.
Why this change is needed
- To allow traffic travelling along Daw End Lane towards Aldridge to continue past vehicles waiting to turn right.
- To reduce delays and improve traffic flow on this approach.
How this will be delivered
- A small reduction in the width of the existing footway outside the National Education Union building (former neighbourhood office) will create space for the new lane markings.
- No changes to junction operation are required to introduce this improvement.
