Walsall Works support

As well as 1-1 support we host various workshops and events throughout the year to support local residents. You can view our monthly workshop calendar, details on group information sessions and dates for upcoming job fairs on our social media pages.

Health and Wellbeing Support 

If a health condition, disability or learning difficulty are making it harder to find or stay in work, Walsall Works can provide additional support through the Connect to Work programme. You'll receive:

• personalised one-to-one employment support
• help to overcome barriers
• ongoing guidance to achieve your work goals

Staying in work

We want to ensure you have all the support you need to start and stay in work. There are some useful resources below which may help to tackle any barriers before or whilst in work:

• Be Well Walsall - a free wellbeing service which can improve your physical and mental health
• Citizens Advice money management advice - help to manage your money better
• Walsall Families Information Service - help with finding information on how to find suitable childcare settings 
• Workwise - get 2 months free travel and the 3rd month at 50% when you start a new job 16 hours or above
