Volunteering can help you to gain new skills and experience. It can increase self-esteem and improve wellbeing, and is a great way to meet new people.

Volunteering with Walsall Council

Walsall Council values the contribution made by volunteers to support our local community.  There are several teams you can contact to talk about opportunities within the council:

Find your local voluntary and community sector (VCS) lead

All Walsall borough wards are covered by a community area – north, south, east and west. Contact the lead organisation for your area to:

  • get involved in volunteering
  • get support from a volunteer group
  • set up a community group
  • find out about funding and training opportunities
