Volunteering in our libraries

Find out more about opportunities within your local library

Volunteering can help you to gain new skills and experience. It can increase self-esteem and improve wellbeing, and is a great way to meet new people.

About us

We have seven libraries in the borough, as well as a mobile and home library service.

Each library setting has a team of dedicated staff who work towards offering a library service to its local community.

Volunteers are an important and valued part of our libraries. If you are interested in supporting our team of staff we would like to hear from you.
