Make a donation
Your donations are so important in supporting the work of the museum. We use money raised from donations to buy objects for the collection, pay for conservation, and enrich our displays.
You can make a donation in person or by post. Our donations box is inside the museum shop. If you'd like to write a cheque, please make it payable to 'Walsall Council' and let us know that it is a donation for the museum. Thank you!

Become a museum demonstrator / volunteer
Are you interested in local history? Do you enjoy interacting with people of all ages?
If you are looking for a new challenge, then we would love to hear from you! Our volunteer demonstrators bring the museum to life. They talk to visitors, share skills, and help prepare and deliver activities for school groups.
No experience is necessary. We are looking for people with a friendly outlook and a willingness to learn and share, who can commit to regular days or half days.

Request a work experience placement
The museum takes a small number of students on work experience placement each year. Placements usually work with our education and front of house staff. To enquire about work experience, contact us.
