Housing renewal assistance policy 2026 - 2030: 1. Introduction - 16.Implementation of the policy and policy review

This policy comes into effect once approved by Cabinet in March 2026, with an estimated start date of 1 April 2026, and will remain in force until 31 December 2030. 

This Policy will be reviewed annually by the Housing Service. It will also be reviewed and amended as appropriate if there are any significant changes in legislation, Government guidance, and/or any significant changes in resources available.

Amendments to the policy can be made by the Director of Housing in consultation with the relevant Portfolio Holder and noted by the relevant Executive Director.
