Complaints
Find out how to complain about Walsall Council services, what to do about social care problems or issues with councillors.
Make a complaint about a councillor (elected members)
Under the Localism Act 2011, we've adopted a local code of conduct for members and co-opted members along with arrangements for dealing with complaints.
The monitoring officer can only deal with complaints about the alleged behaviour and conduct of a member (councillor). They will not deal with:
- complaints about any of the council’s directorates
- matters not covered by the council’s code of conduct
How to make your complaint
If you want to complain about the conduct of a member of the council, you'll need to download and complete the form below.
You'll also need to provide evidence to support your allegation(s).
Once you've completed the form, send it back to us by post.
Our monitoring officer will assess allegations against elected or co-opted members for breach of the council’s code of conduct for members.
