Electric vehicles
The Ultra-Low Emission Vehicle (ULEV) Strategy seeks to expand and improve electric vehicle accessibility, particularly for residents who can't install a charge point on a private driveway. You can download the adopted ULEV Strategy from the Black Country Transport website.
The strategy:
- reinforces our commitment to developing a healthier, cleaner and safer Borough
- supports our commitment to becoming a net zero carbon authority by 2041
Our target for reaching net zero carbon emissions aligns with that of the West Midlands Combined Authority's WM2041 and the Government's national target to be carbon neutral by 2050.
