Road safety and sustainable travel education

Road safety education for children and young people

A*STARS programme

We work with schools and other education settings to promote road safety education and active sustainable modes of travel. We want to reduce car use, especially during the school run, by encouraging you to walk, cycle, use public transport or car share. This will help you to:

  • reduce your carbon footprint
  • improve the health of you and your children

Find out more and see if your child’s school is registered on the A*STARS website or email us with any enquiries.

We offer Bikeability cycle training for young people aged ten years and over in Walsall. You can find out more about the course and what to expect on the Bikeability website.
