Ask for dropped kerb parking enforcement

We don't actively enforce against obstructing a dropped kerb (also called a domestic vehicle crossing or a dropped crossing) for a single drive, but you can ask us to take action. We will only do this if you apply for enforcement.

Apply for enforcement

To apply, you must:

  • be a Walsall resident
  • not share the access to your drive

Download and complete the application form below. You should include the following with your application:

  • proof of residency (for example, a utility bill, council tax bill or a bank statement) or a permit reference number, if you have one
  • a photo of the dropped kerb (optional)

Send your completed application to the car parks team by email or by post.

Penalties

If a vehicle is straddling a dropped kerb, or has a wheel next to it, we may issue a ticket.

If you apply for enforcement, you are waiving your own right to park across the dropped kerb. Civil enforcement officers will penalise any vehicles they find there.
