Lodge Wood and Longwood Coppice

The site is great for health walks and watching wildlife. Longwood Coppice links Lodge Wood to Hay Head Wood Local Nature Reserve and runs around the edge of Aldridge Airport.

The tracks are mainly grass and there are gradients.

A network of nature trails and paths run across the coppice and lead up to Lodge Wood.

Getting to Lodge Wood

Several bus companies run services that will take you near to the wood including National Express West Midlands and Walsall Community Transport.

There is no car park on site but parking is available off Longwood Lane; or the wood can be reached from Aldridge Airport, which has on-site parking.
