If your business sells food or drink and you want to place temporary furniture outside your premises, you'll need a pavement licence.

There's a £100, non-refundable pavement licence fee. You can pay:
- by phone, using a debit or credit card
- by cheque, made payable to Walsall Council
Notice of application
After submitting your application, you must place a notice of application on your premises for at least five working days. Download our template and add your details.

Applications are subject to a consultation period of five working days. This allows other parties to make representations against an application.
After this consultation period, we will either grant or refuse your application within five working days.
