Apply for a club premises certificate

Find out how to apply for a club premises certificate within the borough of Walsall.

You need to apply for a club premises certificate to:

  • provide regulated entertainment in a qualifying club
  • supply alcohol in a qualifying club

You could be imprisoned or fined if you don't have a licence. Find out more about licensing enforcement.

To qualify, your club must meet the following conditions:

  • it is established and conducted in good faith
  • it has at least 25 members
  • new members must wait 2 days before being granted any membership privileges
  • alcohol is only supplied to members and their guests on the premises by the club

Your licence will last indefinitely, as long as you pay your annual fee. We’ll send you an invoice when this is due.
