How to find us
Walsall Leather Museum, Littleton Street West, Walsall WS2 8EW
What to expect when you visit
Explore the museum at your own pace or ask a visitor assistant to show you around.
The ground floor displays introduce Walsall and the leather making process.
Upstairs, find out how Walsall became a leather working town. You will also find our temporary exhibition gallery, where there’s always something new to discover. Finally, our workshops show you what it was like to work in the leather industry 100 years ago!
Hands-on activities
Your senses will be engaged with the scent of leather when you walk into the museum. In the tannery, you can watch a short subtitled film about the work of a currier. Upstairs, you'll be able to create a your own leather keyring. We will bring back our other hands-on activities for you to enjoy when it is safe to do so.
We'll announce future activity sessions on our events and activities page.
