Aaina Community Hub - WEAP
Walsall Energy Action Project, is a new initiative aimed at helping the community save energy and take meaningful climate action. This project is a partnership between Ryecroft NRC, Aaina Community Hub Ltd, Brownhills Community Association, Darlaston All Active, Nash Dom CIC, Walsall Working For Change CIC, and Walsall Council, and it will run for the next three years to end in March 2027
Our goal is to provide residents across Walsall with practical advice and support on energy saving and climate action. We will be training project staff, community staff, and volunteers to deliver 1-2-1 and group advice sessions at six Community Energy Hubs based at community centres across Walsall. For those who are vulnerable and unable to visit the hubs, we will offer home advice visits to ensure everyone has access to the guidance they need.
