Household Support Fund

Household Support Fund applications for 2024/25 are now closed.

The Government has extended the fund for another year, from April 2025 to March 2026.

We are making a new plan to help people who need it most, based on guidance from the Government.

We expect the plan will be ready by the middle of May, and we will share more news then.

• offering proactive support through the transitional leaving care (care leavers) team, early help team and energy efficiency team
• giving additional support for certain households in rented accommodation and in risk of eviction due to rent arrears
• providing additional debt advice support
