Apply for a bigger bin
Eligibility
We may exchange your bin for a larger one free of charge if:
- there are four or more people in your household
- at least three people live at the property, including someone who uses nappies or incontinence pads
If you have any waste issues that include clinical waste, you could be eligible for clinical or medical waste collections.
How to apply
You must have an online account to apply for a bigger bin.
Any data collected as part of the application will be used in accordance with data protection law and the UK GDPR. Find out more about how we process your data.
If you're unable to complete the online form, you can:
- phone the customer experience centre and we will take you through the process
- go to a Walsall Connected hub, where we'll show you how to self-serve online
New builds
It can take up to six weeks for new houses to appear on our system. If your address is not available when you log in, you'll be able to submit your details. We'll then update our records.
What happens next?
Leave your old bin at the front of your property on your delivery date. We will take it away when we deliver your bigger bin.
If you no longer need a bigger bin
We will contact you every year to see if you still need a bigger bin. If your circumstances change and you no longer need it, please tell us.
