Inviting the Mayor to a function
To request the Mayor’s attendance at your event, you’ll need to download and complete the application form below, and return it to us by email or post.
You’ll need to include:
- date of event
- start and finish times of the event
- full address of the venue
- a brief description of what the event is for
- further details if you want the Mayor to address the guests or perform a specific duty (for example, cutting a ribbon)
We will check the Mayor’s availability. If they’re unable to attend, we will offer the Deputy Mayor’s attendance instead.
