Church records
We have copies of registers for many of the local Church of England churches on microfiche, apart from St Matthew's Church, Walsall, which are on microfilm.
Most original Church of England records are held by Staffordshire Record Office or at the individual church.
We hold many original nonconformist church registers, and transcripts of some early Catholic church registers.
