Local Access Forum

Walsall's Local Access Forum is an independent statutory body. It advises the council and others on ways to improve public access to green spaces.

The forum is made up volunteers with diverse interests and backgrounds. We aim to keep a balance of representatives of:

  • users of local rights of way or access land
  • land owners or occupiers
  • any other relevant interests, for example tourism, sport, nature conservation and accessibility

We particularly welcome new members who can represent:

  • horse riders
  • cyclists
  • people with disabilities
  • land managers

Contact us if you’d like to join the forum.

Meetings

The forum meets at least once a year. We haven't set a date for the next meeting but when we do, we'll announce it on this page. All meetings are open to the public.

Contact us if you want to attend a meeting.
