The Croft

Nestled between St. Mary's parish church and the shopping centre, it is a beautiful open space with a children's play area in the heart of Aldridge town centre.

Accessibility

The site is accessible from 4 seperate entrances, with 2 flat, hard surfaced paths running through the mown grass area. Pathways are suitable for wheelchair users, people with mobility impairments and pushchairs, being at least 1100mm, with sections that are 1500 - 2000mm wide for turning.

There are 14 benches well spaced around the site, to allow for rest if required, and the site includes 3 accessible picnic benches.

Getting to The Croft

Several bus companies run services that will take you near to The Croft including National Express West Midlands and Walsall Community Transport. The nearest bus stops are on Aston Road - buses 6 and 36, and the junction of Portland / Whetstone Lane, buses 25, 36, 159 937 and 937A.

There is no car park on site. The nearest car park is on Rookery Lane. It has a number of accessible / Blue Badge parking bays and provides easy access to the site.
