Fibbersley Local Nature Reserve

You will find pools of many different sizes, which are home to a variety of wildlife, at Fibbersley. It is one of a few sites in the borough that is home to the rare great crested newt, a protected species.

Take a circular walk, enjoy the wildlife and maybe bring a picnic! There is an orienteering trail.

Fibbersley is a Local Nature Reserve (LNR). It has a Green Flag award.

Accessibility

The site is mainly grass with inclines in places.

  • Amphibians, including the great crested newt

Getting to Fibbersley

Several bus companies run services that will take you near to the nature reserve including Walsall Community Transport and National Express West Midlands.

There is no car park on site.
