Opening times

• Fryers Road Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC), Bloxwich: Every day (except Thursday) from 9.00am – 4.00pm, late opening Thursdays 10.00am - 5.00pm
• Merchants Way Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC), Aldridge: Every day (except Tuesday) from 9.00am - 4.00pm, late opening Tuesdays 10.00am - 5.00pm

Accepted waste

Please see each site for details of waste accepted.  Strictly no commercial or business waste can be accepted at either site. 

Making your way to the sites

At peak times both sites can be very busy and you may need to wait. You can 'view the queue' at each HWRC via a live web cam feed on the site's page. This is a live feed and will not be recorded.

Proof of residency

You must be a Walsall resident to use either of the HWRCs. Please bring proof of residency with you to the site (for example, photocard driving licence, Council Tax letter, or a recent utility bill).

Safety whilst on site

• If you feel unwell and suspect you may have COVID-19 please do not visit the HWRCs.  If you can, try to stay at home and follow current Government guidance.
• Pedestrians walking in with waste will not be permitted access to the sites.
• Restrictions apply to types of vehicles accepted at both HWRC sites.  Please see the site page for vehicles allowed on site, including information on how to make a booking to bring a van or trailer to the HWRC.
• Commercial or business waste is not permitted at either HWRC site.
