Return of much-loved Walsall Leather Museum Easter event breaks attendance records
Published on
The return of a much-loved event at Walsall Leather Museum broke attendance records over Easter.
The Easter Fun Day, which took place for the first time since 2019, took place on Easter Monday, 1 April 2024 and attracted 600 visitors.
The free event included Punch & Judy and magic performances, walkabout entertainment, balloon modelling, and a drop-in art session.
“ We were absolutely blown away by the fantastic turn out for our Easter Fun Day. We haven’t run the event since before the pandemic and were absolutely delighted that so many from the community and further afield attended the day. A big thank you to all the entertainers on the day as well as our dedicated team.
We’ve had a very busy Easter with families making leather bunny purses, peg dolls, learning to ‘Paint Like a Master’ and more, and are looking forward to offering more low cost, hands-on creative events for children over the May half term and Summer holidays “
Walsall Leather Museum has plenty of events planned throughout April, with an opportunity to take part in their monthly craft club and discover ‘whodunnit’ at their regular Murder Mystery evening.
