The event is completely free and as part of the festivities, two stages will come alive with a diverse range of musical performances from acts representing various genres like jazz, funk, and even a touch of grunge.

The music festival is part of the Arboretum’s annual Bandstand Programme and is hosted by Hunkypunk Promotions and Walsall Council.

From the electrifying rock music from Ancient Champion to the soulful sounds of Inareko and Vibrant Ducks, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Local talents from Walsall will also be showcased.

About Walsall Arboretum

Walsall Arboretum is a rural retreat at the heart of Walsall town centre. First opened in 1874, the Arboretum, now celebrating its 150th Anniversary this year, spans 170 acres and includes Hatherton Lake, the country park and the extension.

The site attracts over a million visitors a year, with people of all ages enjoying events such as the annual bonfire and fireworks, funfairs, fun runs and activities such as: cricket, tennis, bowling, informal football, walking, cycling, and running.

Home to 10,000 different species of trees and shrubs, a report published in July 2024 for the Ancient Tree Inventory revealed that the Arboretum boasts the highest concentration of ancient and veteran trees in the entire region.

In summer, the splash pad and children’s play area also attract thousands of visitors. With a trim trail, skatepark and multi-use games area and its iconic Bandstand, there really is something for everyone.
