Making payments for your care

Invoices

Your invoice will show you how much you need to pay. Once you receive your invoice, you should pay it straight away. Direct debit is the easiest and most convenient method.

If we have arranged your care at home, we will send you an invoice every four weeks, which tells you how much you need to pay. If you are in residential or nursing care, we will send you an invoice after your financial assessment.

Afterward, you will pay your provider directly. If you receive a Direct Payment, you must pay your care contributions into your Direct Payment Account.

Payment methods

There are many ways you can pay for your care including:

  • By direct debit
  • By telephone
  • Via the internet
  • Via bank transfer
  • By post
  • By cash via PayPoint outlets
  • At any post office
  • Walsave customer office

Further information about payment methods will be provided on your invoice.

Missed payments

There is an arrears process which will start if you do not pay.

If you need help with making payments, contact us as soon as possible and we will sort out a payment plan for you.
