HAF and SEND

Children with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND)

Activities aim to be inclusive of your child's needs where possible. Some activities are specific to children with SEND.

Each HAF activity has a description and a list of SEN support information to help you decide if the activity will meet your child's needs.

Activity providers may be in touch with you to further understand your child’s needs and support. When booking activities, please provide as much information about your child to providers. This will help them to provide the best support and safeguard your child. If you wish to discuss your child’s needs with the provider then you can contact them direct. Short breaks are also an option for children with SEND if providers are unable to accommodate their needs. You can find out about help available for children and young people (aged 0-25) with special educational needs and disabilities in Walsall on our SEND local offer webpage.
