Supporting local business

Support for Walsall based businesses to achieve their goals. This is provided through our Business Growth team alongside external providers for a high growth programme for businesses and start-up support.

Funding is available from £1k to £100k for small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Walsall area.

Grants require 50:50 matched funding to enable SMEs to invest in capital assets to increase productivity or support them in increasing employment.

The scheme, which offers up to 50:50 matched grant funding, from £1-100k, for improvements to business premises, aims to enable SMEs to make carbon savings through increased energy and resource efficiency.

The capital grants will cover improvements such as ventilation, heating, renewable technologies and lighting, amongst others, and eligibility is assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Net Zero grant funding available to help Walsall businesses improve energy efficiency.
