Rayboulds Bridge Road improvements
Overview
Walsall Council have secured Town Deal funding to improve the town centres of Walsall and Bloxwich and qualifying surrounding areas.
We're using some of this funding to improve sustainable transport. One of our plans is to widen the footpath on the eastern side of Rayboulds Bridge Road, which links the canal bridge to the A34 Green Lane. At the moment, the footpath is too narrow for pushchairs and wheelchairs. We plan to make it wider so that it’s easier for people to get from the A34 Green Lane to the canal and nearby houses.
Next steps
Work will start at the beginning of 2025 and finish by spring 2025.
