Renewing your vows
You can renew your marriage or civil partnership vows in a special event held for family and friends. Vow renewal ceremonies can be conducted at:
- Walsall Register Office
- venues licensed for marriages
- other premises that have been approved for renewal ceremonies
You don’t need to give notice to renew your vows.
To book a ceremony, contact the Register Office.
Converting a civil partnership to a marriage
If you had a same-sex civil partnership in England or Wales, you can convert it into a marriage in any register office or approved premise in England or Wales. There is a statutory fee for this.
