Walsall Arboretum Visitor Survey 2018
This consultation closed on 23 November 2018. Over the past nine years, a restoration project has been underway at Walsall Arboretum to ensure the site's heritage and environment can be maintained for the enjoyment of all users, now and in the future. This consultation sought all Arboretum visitors' views about the restoration project, as well as how visors use the Arboretum and their general thoughts and feelings about the site to help us improve visitor experiences.
Walsall Arboretum Sustainable Events Policy — consultation closed
The Walsall Arboretum Sustainable Events Policy consultation is now closed. It is anticipated that the findings of the consultation will be presented for Cabinet consideration when Cabinet meets again on 24 October 2018.
Walsall Council sought the views of interested parties — including local residents and park users, Walsall Arboretum User Group, Friends of Walsall Arboretum, events providers, councillors and Clean and Green staff — about a draft Walsall Arboretum Sustainable Events Policy prepared to ensure that planning and permitting events at Walsall Arboretum is done in a way that protects the site and also considers the needs of park users and our neighbours.
The draft policy as well as the current events conditions and a map of the Arboretum are provided below.
