We have access to data and records relating to previous uses of land and premises. This includes ground contamination or the potential for ground contamination.
We have a duty to provide this information to you on request. You can learn more about this duty in The Environmental Information Regulations 2004.
We have a duty to maintain public registers relating to:
- integrated pollution prevention and control
- waste management
- contaminated land
You can learn more about this duty in the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
Get a report on previous use of a specific location
If you need detailed information about a specific location, we can provide a report. There is a fee for this.
If the property is not residential, we will need to know the site boundary. Please be clear if there is a specific reason for this report in your contact with us. These reports may be needed by:
- people buying a house
- solicitors
- developers
- consultants

If you accept the quote, you can make your payment online. We will not begin work before we receive payment.
