Walsall Archive for All blog

Led by Walsall Council, funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund- with thanks to National Lottery players, and in partnership with Walsall For All and Walsall College; WAFA is a two‑year project with a clear ambition: to make the borough’s archives more inclusive, accessible and reflective of the people who live here, through the wonderful example of the Jack Haddock Collection.

This blog captures that journey as it happens.

Our volunteers are learning new skills and shining a light on voices that haven’t always been heard. We are also promoting our work and gathering archives through our events and celebrating the project through exhibitions. These updates, reflections and discoveries offer a real, behind‑the‑scenes look at how Walsall’s history is being opened up for everyone.
