You can make a late application for a secondary school place if:

• you've missed the closing date (31 October 2024)
• you want to change the name or ranking of a school after the closing date

We process late applications after the on-time applications. You probably won’t be offered a place at one of your preferred schools if you apply late.

Make a change to your application

If you want to change the name or ranking of a school after the closing date, email us and tell us:

• your child's full name
• their date of birth
• your home address
• what changes you want to make
