Apply for a scaffolding permit
You must have a permit before you can put up scaffolding or hoarding on a road, pavement or verge.
You'll need to tell us:
- what works you intend to do
- how long the work will take
- the dimensions of any structure to be erected
- that you agree to our safety conditions
We will need at least five days to process your request.

How to pay your fee
When we have received and assessed your application, we will send you an email to confirm your fee. You can then contact our admin team to pay by card over the phone.
