Wasp Treatments

Due to the end of the wasp season Pest Control bookings for the treatment of wasps will not be taken after 2nd October 2020.  The service will be resumed at the beginning of the next wasp season on 1st June 2021.

Covid-19 update

27 July 2020: The council has resumed a limited service to treat the outside of properties.  The indoor pest control service will remain suspended until further notice.

You can book for the outdoor service through our contact centre.  Bookings will only be accepted if the customer is able to provide external access to an area requiring treatment.  Pest Control Officers will not enter properties, including garages, to provide indoor treatments or to gain access to outdoor areas.

During this time, Walsall Council may not be able to provide the service you require and you may need to look for an external contractor.  The following trade organisations have a code of conduct which their members should adhere to when dealing with customers.  These organisations may be able to help you to find a contractor, or assist if any disputes arise:
•    National Pest Technicians Association (NPTA)
•    British Pest Control Association (BPCA)

To book an appointment, or for initial enquiries, please call our contact centre on 01922 653366.

You can also email the pest control team if you have concerns or need advice about pest control issues.
