Work has officially begun on the Bloxwich Stafford Road Sports Club refurbishment project, with contractors starting on site the 29th September 2025.

The scheme is scheduled for completion by the start of December 2025. The centre has received £180,820.45 funding from Walsall Council’s Community Capital programme, which is funded by the Government’s Town Deal.
Bloxwich Stafford Road Sports Club (BSRSC) is a community sports members club in Bloxwich offering first class sport opportunities for all the family. BSRSC offers members to take part in a wide range of sports from bowls, cricket, darts, hockey, pool, rugby and snooker.
The Community Capital project will see essential improvements to the much-loved community facility, including the replacement of the roof, upgraded insulation, enhanced guttering and rainwater outlets, and refreshed fascia boards and perimeter trims. These works will ensure the centre remains a safe, modern, and energy-efficient space for residents and local sports groups.
“ We're proud to have been awarded the contract for Stafford Road Sports Club & Community Centre roof replacement. We’ve pledged to ensure the project not only enhances the building’s condition but also improves energy efficiency and maintains a safe, modern space for the local community to enjoy.
