The ever-popular free music event at Walsall Arboretum bandstand is back for 2023.

The popular free music event at Walsall Arboretum bandstand is back for 2023.

The event features two stages this year. Starting on Sunday 6 August from 12pm- 6pm, the main bandstand which has nine acts and the acoustic stage at the Seedhouse Garden, located at the Visitor centre, will host another 11 performers.

The event focuses on talented local bands and new music from differing genres.  Prepare to hear rock, punk, folk, funk and psychedelia.  The Wheatsheaf’s Dirty Decades Disco will be spinning Glam tunes throughout the day.

Presented by Adrian Shaw of Hunkypunk Promotions in association with Walsall Council Healthy Spaces.

The event is free and all performers have agreed to provide their services without charge to provide a fantastic day out for Walsall music lovers.

A real ale bar is provided by local pub the Fountain, and Papa's Pizzeria will be here doing what they do best – pizza! The event is also popular for picnics provided the sun is shining!
