Various sessions are being held between Monday 26 May and Sunday 1 June, including public swimming sessions at Bloxwich and Oak Park Active Living Centres and Walsall Gala and Darlaston Swimming and Fitness Centres.

The popular Big Bounce events will be held on Wednesday 26 May at Oak Park and Friday 30th May at Bloxwich pre booking online is recommended via their website.

In addition to the usual weekend sessions, roller skating sessions will take place at Oak Park on Wednesday 28th May 1.30pm to 3.30pm and at Bloxwich on Thursday 29 May 10am to 12noon.  Roller skating is suitable for all ages and the sessions cost £6.70 per person; skate hire is available by cash payment only.

Councillor Gary Flint, Portfolio Holder for Culture, Leisure and Visitor Economy, said, “There’s plenty for our residents to sink their teeth into this half-term.

“The holidays always prove a busy time at our leisure centres, and we have fantastic range of activities available. All our offers support our efforts to help residents live healthy and happy lives.

“I would also remind everyone to explore some of our wonderful green spaces and our splash pads, which will be open for the summer.

Pool fun sessions with floats and inflatables will also be available across all four centres, and days and times can be found on the timetable page of our website Timetables | Walsall Council.   The sports halls at Bloxwich and Oak Park ALCs are available for badminton at £7.50 per court before 5pm Monday to Friday.
